A hippy chick named Cassandra Stevens craves adventure one wet, Wednesday night in October. She lands at The Childe Harold, a bar on Dupont Circle, where she meets Harry Shields. About the Author:

Ms. Shipley has worn many hats in her long career. She has been a feature writer and columnist for two newspapers. She and her husband have co-authored works for both stage and screen. She has been a model for several major retailers and was featured in an ad for an international pharmaceutical company that ran for six years. She is more comfortable behind the scenes where she has been a producer and director for stage and film. She and her husband wrote, produced, and directed an independent film called Vignette. This is her first novel.
