Momma Knows About Rainbows is a fun story of how silly it is to be prejudiced. A little boy who is confused on why some of the boys at his school won’t let another kid play on their team because he is different than them. His mother tells him a story about a red pointy-headed family that goes on a vacation and stops at a friendly town to eat and get gas. They find out all too soon that they are not welcome in that town because the town only has purple flat headed people. They had never seen red pointy-headed folks. When the red family decides to leave something happens to change the entire purple town on what they thought of the red family. It is so amazing that the mayor changes the name of their town and invites the red family to come back every year.
