Roy Y. Chan is Ph.D. candidate in Education Policy Studies where he currently serves as Special Projects Coordinator in the Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs (OVPDEMA) at Indiana University Bloomington. His research interest focuses on the role of philanthropy and fundraising in shaping higher education, globalization and internationalization of higher education, and diversity and equity issues in higher education. Roy holds an M.A. degree in Higher Education Administration from Boston College, a M.Ed. degree in Comparative Education from The University of Hong Kong, and a B.A. degree in Criminology, Law & Society from the University of California, Irvine. He is an active member of ASHE, AERA, ACPA, and CIES.
Jennie Lavine is currently a Business Lecturer at a Higher Education College in Abu Dhabi. She has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Finance, an MBA from Warwick University in the UK and is currently pursuing a PhD at Hull University in the UK. Jennie's research interests include Higher Education alongside Culture and Organizational Behavior in an international setting.
