Have you noticed? Kelly, our cute dachshund, is the star of Jolly Time
Books. Readers have asked us why there is a white heart on top of her head.

Like most everything, there is an explanation. Puppies, like people, change
over time. Kelly always had a small tuft of white fur on the back of her
head. As she matured, that patch of white fur grew into a beautiful white
heart.

You may know that dachshunds have a reputation for being controlling (like
some people). Kelly was no exception. She constantly walked a fine line
between making us laugh at her hilarious antics or scolding her for her
chaotic episodes (like pulling toilet paper off the roll and streaming it
through the house).

Kelly was not shy when it came to sharing her feelings. In Jolly Time
