About the Author:
For Jim Osterberg, who has served for several years as an interpreter for the V.I.P. Rocky Mountain National Park program, photography is both a profession and a lifestyle. Having lived in Colorado since 1973, he has spent 25 years photographing wildlife and the natural splendor of parks and preserves in the western United States. He has won numerous awards for his audio-visual work and his photographs have been featured in books and many publications such as: American Park Network, Colorado Outdoors, Country America, Geo and the Estes Park Watchable Wildlife Guide which he also wrote and produced. Jim operates a stock photography abd brochure production business in Estes Park.
A longtime professional photographer, James Frank has been photographing the western landscape for more than 20 years. Blending a passion for the outdoors with his career, Frank often snowshoes and hikes to pristine locations, camping in the backcountry to document nature at its finest. Along with his wife and young daughter, Frank resides in Estes Park with Rocky Mountain National Park as their backyard. Frank's photographs are widely published in books, calendars and magazines. Frank's images have also appeared in numerous advertising campaigns, including those of Macy's, DuPont, American Express and L.L. Bean. In conjunction with his stock photography business, his images are also featured as limited-edition fine art photographic prints available at selected Colorado galleries.
