About the Author:

Dent Gitchel is a trial lawyer and law professor from Little Rock, Arkansas. He recently retired from a long career at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where he remains a professor emeritus. During his twenty years at UALR, he directed the trial advocacy program and coached the school's trial competition teams. He has also taught trial advocacy as a visiting professor at the University of Richmond and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. For many years Gitchel served as a team leader at the Emory University Trial Techniques Program in Atlanta.

Molly Townes O'Brien teaches at the University of Wollongong in Wollongong, Australia. Before her journey to Australia, she was an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Akron School of Law, where she taught Evidence, Trial Advocacy, and Criminal Law. From 1997 through 2001, she was the Director of Advocacy Skills Programs at Emory Law School.
