About the Author:

Mr. and Mrs. Chow are considered by art critics to be among the most popular contemporary Chinese painters. Before coming to the United States in 1969, Mr. Chow served as president of the International Studio of Chinese Art in Hong Kong, where Mrs. Chow was a professor. They taught the theory and practice of Chinese painting to students from 37 countries, inspiring many future artists. Once they moved to the U.S., they increased American exposure to their type of work through further teaching.

The works of the Chows have been widely exhibited throughout the world. Both of them are included in Who's Who in American Art and 20th Century Chinese Artists. They currently reside in Coral Gables, Florida, where they continue to share their knowledge and enthusiasm for the art of Chinese painting.
