About the Author:

Jefferson Finney has enjoyed the company of dogs for as long as he can remember. Influenced at a young age by the writings of James Thurber, he began writing dog stories with he was eight years old. Originally from San Francisco, Jefferson now resides in Hawaii with a rather self-assured German Pointer and a well-mannered poi dog.

Pegge Hopper is a longtime island resident and a well-known artist. This is her first children's book, and she dedicates her work to two of her favorite canines, Hunny and Little Bear, also known as The Dust Mote.
