About the Author:

Bill Dalton was born in Massachusetts, in 1944. After four years at the University of Copenhagen, he embarked on a seven-year journey through 81 countries. Founding Moon Publications in 1973, he has been writing and publishing travel guides ever since. Dalton has lectured on Indonesian culture and has served as a guide and consultant for the American Museum of Natural History, National Geographic and other organizations. American Kal Muller has experienced, photographed and written about many of the most interesting and isolated places of the world. He has produced a number of books, and his photographs and other articles have appeared in National Geographic, Geo and many other prestigious magazines.
