As a formalist poet, I strive to make my work accessible to the widest possible audience, so my poems operate on many different levels. I use both the show and the tell techniques combined, to achieve clarity and depth. This collection contains two poems written for my home town, Kirkham (Lancashire) which recently celebrated 700 years as a chartered market town.
