Pat Brisson is the author of more than a dozen highly acclaimed books for children, including the award-winning The Summer My Father Was Ten. Pat lives in Phillipsburg, New Jersey; she and her husband have four grown sons.

Nancy Cote is the author and illustrator of It Feels Like Snow and Flip-Flops, an American Bookseller's "Pick of the Lists." She is illustrated , many other award-winning books. She lives in Somerset, Massachusetts, with her husband and three children.
