Dreaming in Indigo begins with a young woman and an infant hiding from men who wish to kill the child. They escape only to encounter another menacing man, but are saved by a large white dog just before the woman wakes and discovers the entire thing was a nightmare. Five years later Mandy is shocked to discover that her newborn is the same baby girl that she was protecting in her dream. Later, she sees the same menacing man from her dream while she and her now five-year-old daughter, Naja, are in a park. Mandy ends up in an unscheduled meeting with eleven other people. They are all the parents or guardians of small children, and they don’t know why they are together. More confusing discoveries come to light, as they learn that they are asleep during these unsolicited meetings and that all of their children are being stalked
