This was a review of the first issue of the comic book series. The first issue turns out to be much more entertaining than the ride. It s an anthology, with some of Slave Labor s best talents telling spooky stories. Roman Dirge turns in the strongest effort, a tale of the mansion s pet cemetery and the dog of the ghost bride from the ride. There s a nice variety of art styles and enough laughs that any kid should enjoy it, fan of the ride or no. --Wil Moss, Nashville City Paper
