About the Author:
Wayne Hansen, PE, REA, CEM, is a consultant for Hansen Cornel Consulting Group where he addresses healthcare project construction-related issues with respect to fungal contamination and infection. Hansen was previously Director of Engineering for 15 years for the Mintie, Corp., a national indoor environmental solutions provider, specializing in environmental maintenance and engineering. He oversaw all aspects of risk management and indoor air quality (IAQ) assessments. Hansen has developed risk management plans that have been implemented by commercial real estate facilities and healthcare facilities.
