About the Author:
John J. Korzen is the Director of the Appellate Advocacy Clinic and an Associate Professor of Legal Writing at Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem, NC. At Wake Forest, John is also the Coach of the National Moot Court Team and the Chair of the Moot Court Advisors Committee. Before joining the Wake Forest faculty, John practiced law for eleven years and was a law clerk to the late Sam J. Ervin III, then Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He graduated law school cum laude from Wake Forest in 1991. Before law school John taught writing and other subjects in public schools for six years, in grades four through seven.
