From the Author:
If you read NEWS FOR DOGS, (the second book in my HOTEL FOR DOGS trilogy), you watched Andi write her very first novel, BOBBY STRIKES BACK, based upon the adventures that she and Bruce and Aunt Alice went through with evil dog-nappers.
In this third book, MOVIE FOR DOGS, Andi converts her book into a film script, and she, Bruce, and their two best friends produce a video with versatile Aunt Alice as the villainous star. They enter their movie in a national contest, make it into the semi-finals, and are whisked away to Hollywood to compete in the finals with a talented therapy dog and a dog that's been trained to TALK! Wow, what competition! Especially when the talking dog's devious trainer starts to romance Aunt Alice.
Of course, Jerry Gordon is back, making trouble as always, and -- can this be possible? -- Bruce may have found a girlfriend!
I obtained my information about how things work in Hollywood when I went there to watch part of the filming of the HOTEL FOR DOGS movie. I even stayed in a hotel that offered a room service menu for dog guests and took notes about what the entrees were and how much they cost. That's what writers do -- we take notes about everything, because we never know when they'll come in handy for future books.
I personally like this book the best of the three. But to truly enjoy it, please try to read the first two first.
