Synopsis
When the world grew weary and the earth was scorched, a whisper was heard from deep beneath the ground. The seas were rising and the creatures were fading, but hope stirred from the heart of the earth. She came to heal, and she was born from the molten core. She rose to mend what men of power had broken. With a wave of her hand, glaciers regrew, forests flourished, and ancient creatures returned to roam the earth once more.
But the leaders of mankind feared her touch. Distrustful of the power they could not control, they cast her away, determined to maintain their rule. Yet the witch did not come for them. Her message was for their children- the next generation, still untouched by the greed and ruin that plagued the old.
"Put away your fathers' swords," she whispered into their dreams. "Let the world heal."
But will they listen? As a storm of change brews and the cries of nature grow louder, The Whispering Witch tells the story of a battle not for land, but for the soul of a dying earth.

About the Author
Lee J Mavin has published 12 fantasy, horror and children's picture books. He has lived in Australia, Japan and China, has a master's in Creative Writing and has studied classical Chinese poetry at the University of Sydney.
