About the Author:

Jim Hewitson has been a journalist, lobster fisherman, gypsy, author, graveyard grass-cutter, and broadcaster and has recently graduated with first-class honors from the University of Aberdeen. He worked for The Herald for twenty-five years and is a regular radio and television contributor, commenting on Scottish history and island life.
