About the Author:
Annamarie Jagose was born in Ashburton, New Zealand in 1965. She currently lives in Melbourne where she teaches in the English Department of the University of Melbourne. She was awarded the Todd New Writers Bursary for 1992. This is her first novel, which has already been published, to rave reviews, in New Zealand.
