About the Author:
Although born in Texas, Ruth Duke has adopted California as her home. She is the mother of four adult children and grandmother of five. She and her husband pastored churches in Colorado and California.

After retiring, the Dukes continue living in Fresno, CA., where she is a free-lance writer. Although confined to a wheelchair, she, along with her husband, is active in her church.
