About the Author:
Jessica Ezell still lives in rural Tennessee, in the cottage by the river, with Max, Maria and Peaches, and she continues to work as a Registered Nurse in a unit that treats alcoholism and drug addiction. From time to time, the blue heron can still be seen standing, elegant and watchful, in the lagoon by the park. And white hyacinths are blooming on Daby's grave.
