Born in Edmonton, Alberta in 1925, Bruce Allen Powe served in the Canadian Army overseas in 194345. On veterans credits he earned both his B.A. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Alberta. During his career Powe worked for the federal government and held jobs in public relations and advertising until 1990 when he started his own corporate writing company. Powe is the author of five books including Aberhart Summer The Novel and The Ice Eaters. A proud father and grandfather, Powe now makes his home in Toronto, Ontario./
