This is the most comprehensive work on the postal history of the Ottoman Period of Palestine and Sinai. The tables illustrate all known postal seals, postmarks, telegraph seals and censor marks, registration and A.R. cachets, registration labels, official correspondence seals and censon marks and much more. Over 130 covers postcards and documents illustrated, many of which are the only known examples. Also all known Ottoman field post seals and postmarks, as well as numerous forgeries and bogus postmarks are contained in this large book. Also included is the Valuation Guide pamphlet by George H. Muentz for this volume. 2000, 241 pages, black & white illustrations including old photos of the Post Offices throughout the area, hardcover with dust jacket, new. Size: 8½" X 12".
