Bruce Pascoe is a school teacher, the director of Commonwealth Australian Studies project, and the publisher and editor of Australian Short Stories quarterly magazine as well as a board member of the Victorian Aboriginal Corporation for Languages and a member of the Wathaurong Aboriginal cooperative.
