About the Author:

Os Cresson was 7 to 9 years old when he lived in Afghanistan. It proved a formative influence leading him to a lifetime of service in education in Kenya, Mexico, Guatemala, and Costa Rica. All the income from the sales of his book is given to the Afghanistan Reconstruction Program of the American Friends Service Committee, or used to print more copies of the book.
