About the Author:
Judith Geary discovered her love of historical fiction in writing classes focused on speculative fiction. Tapping history for tips on world building, she was hooked by the real thing. Her passion for the details of ancient life enlivens her fiction and informs her curriculum design. Her background includes an MA in Education from George Peabody College and continued graduate work in writing, editing and literary criticism, a fifteen year involvement in a regional writers’ group and teaching at the university level. Geary edited for Ingalls Publishing Group, Inc. until the company closed after Bob Ingalls’ death in 2015 and currently freelances in editing and design. She teaches at Appalachian State University in the Dept. of Communication. Her articles about ancient Roman history and travel to modern day Rome may be found on the web. Other articles on American history may be found in Cobblestone Magazine and a textbook from Bramley Books. She currently serves as evaluator for Future Problem-Solving International and member of the board for the North Carolina affiliate.
