About the Author:
Sir Addison Silber Howell, Esq. was born on March 4, 1986 in New York City to a gorgeous Pekinese mother, along with numerous brothers and sisters nearly as handsome as he is. After experiencing a brief and frightening imprisonment in a pet store, Addison adopted Bernadette and Larry Silber, who accompanied Addison on immensely pleasurable walks in parks and to playtimes with other dogs on the streets of New York. Addison’s first job was greeting and sending positive energy to clients in the exercise studio where Larry worked. As with all tasks, Addison succeeded beautifully.

After Larry and Bernadette divorced, Addison moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1992 with Larry. Since Addison already knew more than Larry’s chiropractic college could teach him, Addison stayed home and meditated on world problems while Larry took classes and studied. In February 1994 they met Penny, and by 1995 Addison had given his permission for Larry to marry her. They moved into Penny’s house, which had a yard and woods that enabled Addison to engage in intense nature studies.

In October 1996, the family moved to Issaquah, Washington, where Larry and Penny opened a Network Chiropractic clinic. Addison, a powerful natural healer, was disappointed that he was not invited to work there. During endless days left alone at home, Addison realized that he was no longer in the right situation to grow and to exercise his numerous talents. He thus regretfully began searching for a different living situation.

In June 1998 Addison adopted Trisha Fike and began working to improve her, her fiancé Dean Howell and their living situation. He encouraged them to marry and served as an usher at their wedding. Addison now spends most of his time meditating and in addition (he’s so busy!) works in Dean’s NeuroCranial Restructuring Clinic, facilitating physical and emotional healing in all the patients he greets. He’s also trained Trisha to the point that she’s now finally able to transcribe the many wise books he will present to humanity. (Dog knows, that sure took a long time! Poor Trisha is a human and thus rather dense—she has trouble picking up the thought pictures that Addison patiently beams at her.)

With the publication of his first book, The Pekinese Who Saved Civilization, and Trisha’s first book, The Princess and the Pekinese, Addison will be traveling throughout the U.S. with Trisha, his personal assistant (slave), for readings, book signings (Addison has his own paw print stamp), photos (Yes, you too can have your photo taken with Addison!) and entertaining children and adults with his very presence and life stories.

Addison lives with Trisha and Dean Howell on 3,000 wilderness acres in the Okanogan Highlands near Tonasket, Washington. The household presently includes caretakers Rich and Bernie Wells, Bailey the Peek-a-Poo, Speedy the Shepherd/Black Lab/Wolf, and German Shepherds Hanna and Alex. Addison’s favorite activities are eating and sleeping, but he also enjoys meditating, hiking, traveling, indulging Trisha in playing ball, and displaying his very long and impressive tongue.
