Book Description Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Three Gorges Project (TGP), the largest hydroelectric project in the world, is one of the most significant constructions in China. Since the TGP greatly changed the natural terrain of the upriver gorges, the regular surveys over this region with the earth observation images are highly needed. The multi-image InSAR analysis has proven to be a very capable and effective technique for obtaining precise elevation and displacement measures of the detected targets. In this work, more than one hundred InSAR images have been processed to measure and analyse the topography and deformation over the Three Gorges Region. By exploiting single interferograms with the facilitations from external topography data, reliable Digital Elevation Model (DEM) have been generalized and an approximate temporal coherence map can be extracted with the detected point-like targets. On the other hand, with different time series InSAR analysis methods, i.e. Permanent Scatterer (PS), Stanford Method for Persistent Scatterers (StaMPS) and Quasi-PS (QPS) techniques, we are able to monitor the slow landslides and the stability of the Dam around this region. 128 pp. Englisch.
