Shrimp farming is the fastest growing aquaculture and the second largest export earning sector in Bangladesh. About the Author:

The author has been working as a faculty at the Bangladesh Agricultural University. She graduated from the same university in Ag. Economics with Gold Medal. She did her second MS at the Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Japan in Dev. Economics. Currently she is pursuing her PhD in Environmental Economics at the University of Sydney, Australia.
