Frederick J. Kiesler was an architect, sculptor, painter, designer, and art historian. About the Author:

Frederick J. Kiesler was born in Vienna in 1890. After emigrating to New York in 1926, he served as Director for Stage Design for the Julliard School of Music, designed the interior for Peggy Guggenheim's Art of This Century, and designed the International Surrealist Exhibition put on by Andre Breton and Marcel Duchamp in Paris in 1947, among many other activities.
