Este trabajo busca determinar si los cambios implementados en la UASLP garantizan la solvencia financiera de su sistema pensionario. Para ello se ha efectuado simulación, con la cual se observa que los cambios implementados por la universidad ayudan a aliviar la presión que se cierne sobre la institución en materia jubilatoria. El 8% de ahorro global es apenas suficiente para solventar los pagos de los jubilados bajo las condiciones actuales. No obstante, si éstas cambian, la respuesta podría modificarse, ya que el sistema es muy sensible a algunas variables implicadas, como es el incremento salarial de los empleados, el rendimiento financiero del fondo pensionario, los años de servicio para jubilarse y la expectativa de vida de los retirados.
