Противоопухолевая химиотерапия спасает тысячи жизней, однако эффективность и токсичность цитостатиков зачастую непредсказуема: одна и та же доза способна вызвать тяжелейшие осложнения, практически не принеся пользы, или полностью уничтожить опухоль ценой минимальных неудобств для больного. Основной причиной подобных индивидуальных различий является полиморфизм генов, кодируемые которыми белки участвуют в метаболизме препаратов и реализации их терапевтического эффекта. В представленной работе изучена зависимость лечебного действия и переносимости цисплатина при раке яичников от полиморфизма генов, отвечающих за инактивацию этого препарата (глутатионтрансферазы)и репарацию вызываемых им повреждений ДНК (ERCC1, XPD, XRCC1). Результаты подчеркивают важность индивидуального подхода к назначению цитостатиков.
