Book Description In 1966, Bochner curated an exhibition of working drawings collected from artist friends and colleagues. This landmark show of conceptual collaboration included work by Donald Judd, Robert Smithson, Eva Hesse, Sol LeWitt, Robert Mangold, Dan Graham, John Cage, and others. Also included were contributions from composers, mathematicians, choreographers, and engineers. The work was Xeroxed and then bound into four identical volumes that were then mounted on pedestals in the center of the gallery. This is a 1997 recreation of that event." The brochure contains text by James Meyer, reprinted and translated here, which first appeared in the catalogue "Mel Bochner: Thought Made Visible 1966-1973", published by Yale University Art Gallery in 1995.
