Profusely illustrated with over 150 b/w reproductions of photographs by Katz of artists such as Bernd and Hilla Becher, Joseph Beuys, Jan Debbaut, Luciano Fabro, Fritz Gruber, Anselm Kiefer, Roy Lichtenstein, Reinhard Mucha, Robert Rauschenberg, Emil Schuhmacher, Andy Warhol, E. Wimstarkenburg, and many others. Original signatures (on or below their images) by the following artists: Lawrence Weiner, Gilbert & George, John Baldessari, Cindi Sherman, Georg Baselitz, Gerhard Richter, Claes Oldenburg, Markus Lüpertz, Per Kirkeby, Emil Schuhmacher, Bernd Becher and Günther Uecker.
