Cette série des " métamorphoses de la lumière ", que Lerski, photographe et cinéaste suisse, considérera comme son chef d'?uvre, est constituée de 139 photographies d'un même homme, photographié sur le toit de son immeuble au 16 rue Dizengoff à Tel-Aviv. Cette série a été réalisée par Helmar Lerski sur plusieurs mois entre 1935 et 1936. Édition ornée de 110 portraits en noir & blanc dont 72 reproduits à pleine page.
