About the Author:
G. S. Popli, Ph.D., is Director and Professor of Banking and Finance at Delhi School of Professionals Studies & Research, Delhi. Also, he is a veteran banker having about three decades of versatile experience in the field of banking starting from branch banking to corporate office of Oriental Bank of Commerce. He also delivers lectures at Staff Training Colleges of banks and some management institutes in Delhi/NCR. Dr. Popli is a CAIIB and CeBA qualified professional. He was conferred Delhi Udyog Rattan award by the then Industry Minister of National Capital Region of Delhi in 2008 for his contribution on SME Financing in India. He has more than 45 research papers to his credit, which have been published/presented in various international and national journals/seminars. S. K. Puri was Assistant General Manager at Oriental Bank of Commerce, Regional Office, Mumbai (South). He is a CAIIB qualified professional having more than three decades of experience in the banking sector. Mr. Puri has a rich working experience in bank loans and advances department. He has also served as senior faculty at Staff Training College of banks.
