About the Author:

K. G. Krishnamurthy obtained his master s degree in structural engineering from IIT-Kharagpur and PhD from Bangalore University in contract management, He has served in CPWD, FCI and ISRO, Bangalore, and has about 45 years experience in different capacities in areas of planning, construction, maintenance, training, teaching and constituency. Currently, Dr Krishnamurthy is a Visiting Professor at Department of Architecture, UVCE, Bangalore University, and at BIT, Bangalore. He Is an academic counsellor for MBA Programme at IGNOU. He is a practising consultant in construction and contract management.
