About the Author:

A well respected homeopath who used mother tinctures as well as high and low potencies. His books are about his cases and philosophy.

Great-uncle of Margery Blackie. He was primarily an organopathic clinician supporting the works of Rademacher. He was the first to study vaccinosis. Known as "Dr. Gout" for his successful treatment of gout with his secret remedy, Urtica urens, which he refused to reveal during his lifetime.

He took his medical degree from Glasgow and "...the Professor of Anatomy specially congratulated him on his brilliant examination and later implored him not to ruin a promising career by going in for Homeopathy - which the young man had by then decided on.
