The book has been designed keeping in mind the need for a textbook on this subject for students of science as well as technology stream. The purpose of this book to outline, in a concise but comprehensible manner, the fundamentals of Industrial Biotechnology and to present descriptions of the more important processes within the field. Chapter 10 and 11 list mass transfer and oxygen transfer operations in bioprocesses, while Chapter 12 describes about control strategies for bioprocesses.
