About the Author:

Dr. Sumana Bandyopadhyay, obtained her first class Master's Degree in Linguistics from Calcutta University in 2000 and her Ph.D. Degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 2008. She was Project Associate in R & D, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, Speech Recognition Project at NT, Kanpur. Dr. Bandyopadhyay has three papers to her Credit and has lectured at various Professional bodies. She is currently working on Cognitive Linguistics. She is a life member of the Linguistic Society of India and the Dravidian Linguistics Association.
