The study aid starts with relativistic theory, as it is inherent in electromagnetic field theory. As a whole, the study aid is partitioned into three parts: Part I. Special Relativistic Theory. Part II. Electrodynamics in vacuum. Part III. Electrodynamics of continuous media. The introduction contains some elements of vector analysis. This serves as an aid, in the sense that it carries the bulk of formulae used further in the study aid. In the study aid, most of the problems are solved. The other portions of the problems only have answers, and are to be solved by the students as homework. At the beginning of every heading a short theoretical introduction with the main formulae is given.

About the Author:
Born 06/09/1961 in Kumbo, Northwest Province, Cameroon. He obtained the First School Leaving Certificate from Presbyterian Primary School Kumbo in 1975, G.C.E. Ordinary Level from Kilo Comprehensive College Kumbo in 1980 and G.C.E. Advanced Level from St. Augustine's High School Kumbo in 1983. LUKONG CORNELIUS FAI obtained his Master of Science in Physics and Mathematics in 1991, and the Doctor of Science in Physics and Mathematics in 1997, both from Moldova State University. He acquired a certificate as a Russian language teacher in 1991 from Moldova State University. Has been teaching for eleven years. He is the author of about twenty-one scientific publications. Speaks and writes English, French, Russian and Lamnso. He is an Associate Professor at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, University of Dschang, Cameroon.
