About the Author
Naoko Stoop nació en Japón y creció allí. "Desde que era pequeña", dice, "he estado fascinada con la creación de arte a partir de cosas usadas". Emplea bolsas de papel dobladas o usadas como lienzo y crea sus imágenes a partir de otros materiales que se encuentran en su vecindario.
El primer libro ilustrado de Naoko, Red Knit Cap Girl, publicado por Little, Brown, fue nombrado Mejor libro ilustrado para niños del New York Times en 2012. Naoko ahora está trabajando en Red Knit Cap Girl to the Rescue. Un tercer libro sobre Red Knit Cap Girl y su amigo White Bunny seguirá en 2014.
Naoko vive y crea su arte en Brooklyn, Nueva York.
