About the Author:

Dr. Hirschfield is an author, lecturer, and publisher located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He spent over fifty years in Los Angeles, California, first as an engineer and manager in the aerospace industry and later in private practice for twenty-eight years as a spiritual psychotherapist. Through his nearly fifty-year study and application of the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous which he adapted for people in all walks of life in his book, The Twelve Steps for Everyone... who really wants them, Dr. Hirschfield is on his way to becoming a mystic who converses with the God of his understanding on a daily basis. For some years now, Jerry has identified himself as a "Spiritual being with a recovering ego." That identification is explained in detail in his forthcoming book, "Your Soul Is Calling: Healing Our Ego Addiction." Dr. Hirschfield believes that God has inspired the writing of all his books and has dictated the entire content of his third book, "Forever One: Letters from God --- You Are Perfect Love. He says: "Don't take my word for it; read the first letter, then decide for yourself." He holds a B.S. degree from M.I.T., a Master s degree in Engineering Management from UCLA, an M.A. in Counseling from California State University, and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Pacific Western University.
