Acknowledgments I am greatly indebted to the editors of the Greek plays of the Oxford Classical texts, as I relied entirely on them to conduct the present undertaking. They are literally the foundation of this Study. I also profoundly owe to past scholarship of ancient Greek dramas in general, but their contributions to my work is unspecific and too vast to mention any particular case. Several specific publications that helped me on distinct issues are stated in the bibliography. Since no scholars in the past have used the method adopted in this research, I had no opportunity to consult or seek advice on this current Project from other scholars. It is unfortunate for I had no one to help me to realize errors and mistakes that I may have committed. I should also add that, as an independent scholar, I belong to no academic organization, which would have offered me appropriate assistance in producing the present work. Many years ago, in the 1970s I think, the late Profesor Henry Hönigswald of the University of Pennsylvania, pointed out the connection between the concept of my ŽMŽtheory and that of phonemes in the Works of Ferdinand de Saussure. His insightful suggestion greatly inspired me to develop gradually my ŽMŽtheory. I should also mention that Mr. Allan Whitney, my long time friend in our Homeric Reading sessions, drew my attention to the existence of mountains with double peaks in the region of Catalhoyuk in the southern Anatolia. I am thankful for his perceptive research work. While my wife and I were in Turkey in the summer of 2012, His Excellency Leonidas C. Chrysanthopoulos, the former Greek Ambassador to Canada, now in Istanbul, assisted us in every posible way to make our journey pleasant and comfortable.
