Volume 1 traces the first 40 years of Ben Yehuda's life which shaped his stormy and emotional personality. These were years marked by conflicts, struggles, and even ostracism, on the one hand, and great esteem for his achievements, on the other. Volume 2 opens with his stand in the "Uganda Episode" and ends with his death about 20 years later.
In 2007, UNESCO declared Eliezer Ben Yehuda to be worthy of international recognition and commemoration for his unique contribution to humanity.
