About the Author:

Jasbir Jain is Professor Emeritus Fellow at the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. A Translator, editor, and writer, she has authored several books including Beyond Postcolonialism: Dreams and Realities of a Nation (206) and Gendered Realities, Human Spaces: The Novels of Shashi Deshpande (2003). Supriya Agarwal is Head of the Department of English, Khandelwal P.G. Girls College, Jaipur. She is co-editor of Gender and Narrative and Writer of the Caribbean Diaspora, and has several published articles.
