J. McClintock. Author was a Methodist minister. 8vo. Frontis., xxi, [1 (blank)], 25?309, [1 (blank)], [2 (ads)] pp. Sabin 48918; Coleman 1813. Publisher's textured light gray cloth. Cloth frayed at head of spine; gilt on spine darkened; fingernail-sized "splash" of black ink on spine. Only a several instances of brown spots, in margins. Ex-social club library: 19th-century bookplate, call number on endpaper and fly-leaf, pressure-stamp on title-page, no other markings. Lacks front free endpaper. Very good overall.
