About this seller

Operating continuously since 2004, SIGNAL BOOKS & ART specializes in autographed fiction in collector's condition. We also have catalogs of Original Art and Silver, Bronze and Modern Age comic books. All books are 1st printings of the 1st edition, unless otherwise noted, and 90% of our book inventory is autographed by the author. The original art retailed by SBA is primarily by Canadian artists of the early to mid 20C. Typically, the paintings are oil on board and presented in a period frame. Our inventory of high-grade comic books is all bagged and boarded; some are autographed by a contributor; and other comic books are offered with a related action figure on card. Regarding condition, at SBA we believe in full and frank disclosure. We describe objects conservatively and thoroughly so you won't have any unpleasant surprises. And you may rely on us to take care in packing your order so it will arrive as described. We ship in sturdy boxes - NOT self-mailers or padded envelopes - and all sales regardless of value are protected in bubble-wrap and surrounded by Styrofoam peanuts. All dust jackets are protected in a clear, acid-free sleeve. This has always been our practice at SBA because we grew tired of buying from dealers who lack the expertise or the willingness to fully describe flaws in condition or who are purposely vague in their descriptions. And SBA will never expose your purchase to damage in transit to save a few bucks on shipping. Buy from us and put that aggravation behind you. Over 90% of our inventory of first editions is autographed, because SBA is located close to Toronto, an international hub for author events. Please browse our catalogs, including autographed first books, books signed by deceased authors, books signed and dated in the year of publication, Original Art and Comic Books-Action Figures.
