Stated Eleventh Printing at copyright. 1957 also at copyright page; no other dates. Circa 1970 printing matching the first printing in design, quality and dimensions. Bright red full-cloth boards, crisp gilt cover initials and spine titles on black field, moderate shelf wear, spine toning, discoloration. Deckled pages generally very good; corner crease at front blank endpaper. Few page numbers penned in orange at back pastedown. Clipped wrapper flaps (from another dj) adhered to front and back pastedown. Bind fine, square; hinges intact. Presented in beautiful and complete matching wrapper from this period, moderate shelf wear, toning; unclipped 12.95, protected in new clear sleeve.
