216 pages. Large format. 12.25" x 9.25". #609 OF A LIMITED NUMBERED FIRST EDITION HAND NUMBERED AND SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. Large sharp black & white photographs throughout. Pictures and describes the work of the finest stockmakers of that period including Al Biesen, Leonard Brownell, Winston Churchill, Jerry Fisher, Dale Goens, Gary Goudy, Richard Hodgson, Monty Kennedy, Earl Milliron, Maurice Ottmar, Phillip Pilkington, Duane Wiebe, and Robert Winter. A fantastic reference book for the stockmaker, custom gunmaker, gunsmith, individual planning to order a custom rifle, or someone who just loves beautiful rifles. Scarce. The Book has very minor corner bumping (barely noticeable). The inside is clean and bright and the binding is solid. The Dust Jacket has moderate edgewear, mostly to the corners and spine ends. There is also a tear to the top front about .75" long. Overall the Dust Jacket is about Very Good. An opportunity to own a nice copy of a Scarce book at a reasonable price.
